Playlist focusses on common problems encountered while installing WAMP
(1) WAMP Server doesn't load localhost
(2) Project Links do not work on Wamp Server
(3) Websites Not Loading on Local Wamp Server
(4) "WAMP server" Localhost not working, giving blank pages
My case was even more bizzare because i know what the problem normally is ...It is the port 80 who is the culprit ..if your port 80 is engaged by some other programme , normally turning that programme off or assinging apache webserver to some other port 81 does it !
But , here as you can see i tested what is being used by port 80 and surprisingly it was apache ...actually i wasn't surprised because localhost being loaded means that apache is listening to the port
However my websites /projects in wamp were not loading
So , i decided to investigate
I saw that in the index file for wamp , i have a variable suppress local host set to true ...i set it to false and restarted wamp engine
And voila it worked
Nothing else did ---restarting the system , etc etc crap didn't !
